FAQ’s

Q: What is mediumship?

A: Mediumship is the practice of connecting and communicating with those who have crossed over to the Spirit world

Q: How does a medium communicate with spirits?

A: Mediums use their psychic senses including clairvoyance (seeing), clairaudience (hearing), claircognizance (knowing) and clairsentience (feeling or sensing). Spirits communicate through pictures or scenes, colors, songs or lyrics, symbols and many other different ways.

Q: Is mediumship the same as a psychic reading?

A: While there is overlap, mediumship specifically involves communicating with spirits. Psychic readings can encompass a broader range of information, including intuitive insights about a person’s past, present, or future, without necessarily involving spirit communication.

Q: Do I need to be in person for a mediumship session?

A: No, many mediums offer readings over the phone or via video call. The effectiveness of the session often depends more on the medium's skill than the physical location.

Q: How should I prepare for a mediumship reading?

A: Be open-minded and relaxed. It’s helpful to have specific questions or topics in mind but remain flexible to the messages that come through. You can ask your loved ones in Spirit to come through in your session but there is no guarantee. Avoid expectations, and keep in mind that not all messages may be immediately clear. Sometimes the pieces connect after the session.

Q: Can I ask for a specific loved one to come through?

A: I will always set the intention that you hear from your loved ones but I can’t control who comes through. It does not mean they are not with you if they don’t come through.

Q: Is there a certain amount of time after my loved ones pass on that I should wait to have a mediumship reading?

A: Spirit can come through as early as hours after their passing but I do recommended waiting a few weeks after to properly move through the grieving process. It’s common for them to hang around after their passing to check in and comfort their loved ones.

Q: What is Reiki?

A: Reiki is a form of energy healing that involves the practitioner channeling universal life energy (Reiki) through their hands to promote physical, emotional, and spiritual healing.

Q: How does a Reiki session work?

A: During an in person Reiki session, the recipient usually lies down fully clothed while the practitioner lightly places their hands on or near the recipient’s body. The practitioner then uses gentle hand movements or holds their hands in specific positions to channel Reiki energy. For a distance Reiki session, you can receive healing energy while in the comfort of your own home in a seated position or lying down.

Q: What should I expect during a Reiki session?

A: You may feel a sense of relaxation, warmth, or tingling. Some people experience emotional releases or mental clarity. You may fall asleep or enter a meditative state during the session. You may also feel no changes, and that is also normal.

Q: How many Reiki sessions will I need?

A: The number of sessions needed varies based on individual needs and goals. Some people feel better after a single session, while others may benefit from a series of treatments. Your practitioner can help determine a plan that suits you.

Q: Are there any side effects of Reiki?

A: Reiki is non-invasive, generally considered safe and has minimal side effects. Some people might experience temporary emotional release or physical sensations. Always inform your practitioner about any discomfort or concerns during the session.

Q: Can Reiki be used alongside other medical treatments?

A: Yes, Reiki can complement conventional medical treatments and therapies. It is not a substitute for medical care but can be used to support overall well-being and aid in relaxation and stress reduction.

Q: Can you receive Reiki if you are pregnant?

A: Yes, Reiki is a safe, non-invasive, and gentle healing modality. Reiki healing energy can cause no harm to it’s recipients.
